Graveside services for Harold Gene Davis, 77, of Abernathy, TX, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 23, 2021, in the Abernathy Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Harold Gene Davis died, May 20, 2021 in Lubbock, TX. Harold was born November 7, 1943 in Lubbock to Harold V. Davis & Isabell (Harrell) Davis. He graduated from Abernathy High School in 1961. Harold was an avid farmer, farming in Petersburg until he was 72. After retiring, he then moved to Abernathy, TX. Harold enjoyed getting to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Amy Davis. Harold is survived by a daughter Alicia Turner & husband Brett of Floydada, TX, son Audie Davis & wife Lindsey of Stephenville, TX, 8 grandchildren Colby Turner & wife Katie, Tyson Turner & wife Shawnee, Braxton Turner, Carson Turner, Kristy Miller & husband Lew, Jaymon Sansom & wife Tawni, Tucker Blackshear, and Kole Davis, 9 1/2 great grandchildren, brother Eddie Davis & wife Cindy of California, and a sister Dorothy Reeves of Lubbock.
