Services for Gwen Howard Faulks, 63, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 22, 2004, in the Northside Baptist Church in Abernathy, TX with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Gwen died Sunday, July 18, 2004, in Lubbock, TX. She was born April 17, 1941 in Snyder, TX to W. D. and Aletha Sanders. She graduated from Abernathy High School in 1959, attended WTSU in Canyon, TX and then moved to Lubbock in 1960 from Abernathy. She was a member of the Lubbock Realtor Association and was a realtor for Edwards and Abernathie Realtors. She was preceded in death by her Father, W. D. Sanders April 5, 1994. She is survived by her husband, Jack Faulks of Lubbock, TX, Children, Keith Howard and Phyllis Wilson both of San Antonio, TX, a step son, Buddy Faulks of Levelland, TX, Mother, Aletha Sanders of Abernathy, TX, a brother Jerry Sanders and a sister, Nelda Brown both of Lubbock, TX and 5 grandchildren.
