Rosary for Guadalupe M. Villanueva, 51, of Abernathy, TX, were recited Sunday, August 15, 2004, in St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Timothy Judd officiating. Funeral Mass was held Monday, August 16, 2004, in St. Isidore Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Ms. Villanueva died Friday, August 13, 2004, in Lubbock, TX. She was born July 19, 1953 in Lubbock, TX. She was a lifelong Abernathy resident, graduating from Abernathy High School in 1973. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church where she served with the Guadalapana Society, Francis of Isisi and was coordinator for the Alter Servers. She is survived by her mother, Dolores Villanueva of Abernathy, TX, 3 brothers, Juan and Roy Villanueva both of Abernathy, TX, and Antonio Villanueva of Lubbock, TX, and one sister, Sussana Gonzalez of Houston, TX.
