Rosary for Guadalupe Alvarez, 34, of Houston, TX, will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, December 26, 2013, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Rev. John Smith, pastor, officiating. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2013, in the same church with the same officiant. Burial will follow in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mr. Alvarez died Monday, December 23, 2013, in Amarillo from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Clarendon, TX. He was born December 10, 1979 in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Miguel and Maria Guadalupe (Sigala Robia) Alvarez. He married Yesenia M. Borunda on May 20, 2006, in Plainview, TX. He moved to Houston 13 months ago and worked in Construction. He was a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Yesenia Alvarez of Houston, TX, a son, Yurem Guadalupe Alvarez and a daughter, Evy Kiearra Alvarez both of Houston, his mother, Guadalupe Sigala Robia Alvarez, 2 brothers, Miguel Angel Alvarez Sigala and Jesus Antonio Alvarez Sigala and 3 sisters, Juana Alvarez Sigala, Nora Lilia Alvarez Sigala and Blanca Lorena Alvarez Sigala.
