Services for Glenda Faye Taylor 69, of Spade, TX, will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 21, 2021, at Abell Funeral Home, Abernathy, TX with Rev. Billy Parmer officiating. Burial will follow at Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. The family will gather to receive friends at Abell Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021. Mrs. Taylor died Saturday, May 15, 2021, in Spade, TX. She was born September 21, 1951 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Glenn Robinson and June (Howard) Robinson. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1970. Glenda married James M. Taylor July 5, 1980 in Levelland, TX. They moved to the Dallas, TX where they lived for 19 years prior to moving to Phoenix, Arizona and returned to Lubbock to be near family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Taylor, May 9, 2018. She is survived by a daughter, Tana Lynn Portales and husband Martin of Spade, TX, 4 grandchildren, Jayden Taylor, Marissa Lynn, Ayvah Portales and Aydan Portales, 2 brothers, Stacy Robinson and wife Cindy and Jimmy Robinson.
