Gladys Wolff

Services for Gladys Wolff, 87, of Lubbock and formerly of Hale Center, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at Abell Funeral Home, Abernathy, with Rev. Will Cotton officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home. Mrs Wolff died Sunday, January 4, 2009, in Lubbock, TX. She was born June 4, 1921 in Waco, TX . She was a resident of Hale Center for 75 years before moving to Las Cruces, NM in 2001 due to health problems. She moved to Lubbock in 2006. She was a dietician at the Hale Center Hospital. She married Max Wolff, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Gore and a sister, Irene Wheeler. She is survived by 3 sisters, Mary Alice Glenn of Las Cruces, NM, Juanita Loyd of Lubbock, TX and Dottie Odom of Lampassas, TX, many neices and nephews. Abell Funeral Home
