Gary Perkinson

Graveside Services for Gary Perkinson, 62, were held 3:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Hale Center Cemetery with Rev. Elias Moralez officiating. Arrangements were by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mr. Perkinson died April 7, 2005 at Covenant Hospital in Plainview. He was born to Bill Perkinson and Billie Grace Bandy Perkinson on May 5, 1942 in Plainview, TX. He married Janet Marie Johnson on August 5, 1961 in Cotton Center, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Hale Center and was a paint contractor in this area for 41 years. He was very involved with his family. Survivors include his wife, Janet of Hale Center, TX, 2 sons, Ricky Lynn Perkinson of Hale Center, TX and Dicky Dwayne Perkinson of Brownwood, TX, a daughter, Amanda Michelle Sanders of Brownwood, TX, 10 grandchildren, Todd Wallace Waller, Brandon James Perkinson, Michael Aaron Perkinson, James Dale Willeby, Mikal Lee Miner, Marc Lane Miner, Shonda Michelle Perkinson, Madison Kaye Sanders, Steven Ray Perkinson, and Taylor Glenn Sanders; and a great granddaughter, Hailey Michelle Waller.
