Gary Davis

Graveside services for James Gary Davis, 63, of Hale Center, TX, were held at Center Plains Cemetery, Cotton Center, TX, Friday, January 20, 2006 with Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating. Services were under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Gary passed away January 19, 2006 after a lengthy illness. He was born May 26, 1942 in Plainview, TX to Wade and Betty Davis. Gary married Lillie Abell on March 8, 1985. Gary was a hard worker, doing landscape and yard maintenance. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Davis of Hale Center, TX, son, Robert Davis of Lubbock, TX, daughter, Barbra Armstrong of Tripp, SD, son, Tim Abel of Hale Center, TX, a sister Marilyn King of Hale Center, TX, 2 brothers, Don Davis of West VA and Ronnie Davis of Canyon, TX.
