Graveside services for Francis Lanning, 75, were held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 31, 2002, at the Olton Cemetery, Olton, TX, with Harold Abney, Hospice Hands of West Texas Chaplain officiating. Services were under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Lanning died at her residence in Hale Center on Sunday, December 29, 2002 She was born March 16, 1927 in Berlin,Germany. She moved to Hale Center in 1982 from Olton where she had lived since 1955. She is survived by a daughter: Rosie Richardson and her husband Ted of Hale Center, TX 1 grandson: Mickey Blankenship and his wife Sue Ellen of Hale Center, TX. Abell Funeral Home
