FRANCES LOUISE MORMINO Lubbock, TX Services for Frances Louise Mormino, 82, of Lubbock, TX and formerly of Ft. Worth, TX, were held at 3:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2008, in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel with Rev. Warren Murphy, T.O.R., officiating. Burial followed in the Laurel Land Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Viewing was held from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday evening at Laural Land Funeral Home. Mrs. Mormino died Sunday, November 2, 2008, in Lubbock, TX. She was born September 1, 1926 in Charlottesville, VA where she was raised. She met her husband, Frank Joseph Mormino and they were married April 6, 1945 in Hanover, VA.. He preceded her in death, December 4, 1985. They resided in Waco, TX until moving to Ft. Worth, TX in 1953. They were longtime members of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Ft. Worth, TX. She is survived by 5 children, Frank J. Mormino, Jr., Beverly Sadler and husband, George, Larry J. Mormino and wife Regina, Mary Anne Cook and husband John and Cary Mormino, 5 grandchildren, Sam Scribner, Steve Trojacek, Scott Trojacek, Bill Scribner and Lisa Mormino and 3 great grandchildren.
