Frances Hudson

Graveside services for Ola Frances Hudson, 95, of Abernathy, TX will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in the Abernathy Cemetery with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy. Mrs. Hudson died at her home in Abernathy, Monday, April 24, 2017. She was born December 20, 1921 to Axon and Ollie Mae (Brown) Rice. She attended school at County Line, TX and graduated from Abernathy High School. She married Check Hudson, February 11, 1939 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death December 20, 2015. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Littlefield, TX. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Sims of Abernathy, a Grandson, Chris and Brandi Sims of Lubbock, TX, and 3 great grandchildren, Caden Sims, Colton Ritchardson and Brittani Ritchardson all of Lubbock, TX.
