Graveside services for Floyce Gould, of Orleans, Mass. were held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 4, 2002, in the Abernathy Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Gould died Saturday, September 28, 2002 in Orleans, Massachusetts. She was born November 25, 1933 to Caroll and Katie Owen in Abernathy, TX. She was a graduate of Abernathy High School in 1951. She married Maurence H. "Square" Gould, he preceded her in death. She had lived in Brunswick, Maine, Brewster, Massachusetts and Lubbock, TX. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ while living in Lubbock, and later was a member of the Cape Cod Church of Christ. She is survived by; 2 sons, Daniel C. Gould of Brewster, MA and David M. Gould of Smithtown, NY. 1 daughter, Katie E. Gould of Brewster, MA. 6 sisters; Betty Pearce, Willeen Dunn and Bobby Cloud all of Abernathy, TX, Loyce Lenning of Lubbock, TX, Diane Smith of Idalou, TX and Paula Clark of Dumas, TX.
