Graveside services for Evelyn Bridges, 78, of Hale Center, TX, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 15, 2013, in the Hale Center Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Cameron, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Bridges died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in Plainview, TX. She was born April 26, 1935 in Tom Bean, TX. She married Garvin Bridges on December 15, 1956 in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death July 5 2010. She lived in Hale Center most of her married life and was a member of the Hale Center First United Methodist Church. She is survived by a brother, Harvey Grisham and wife Jean of Abernathy, TX and a sister, Clara Brown of Hutchison, KS and several nieces and nephews.
