Rosary for Eufemia T. Garcia, 94, of Hale Center, TX, were recited Friday, March 2, 2012, at 7:00 pm, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Rev. John Smith, pastor, officiating. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, March 3, 2012, in the same church with the same officiant. Interment followed in the Littlefield Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Garcia died in Plainview, TX on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. She was born March 22, 1917 in McAllen, TX. She married Gregorio Garcia on June 7, 1937 in Edinberg, TX. She was a longtime Hale Center resident and was Catholic. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Garcia, a son, Domingo Garcia and a daughter, Eva Angelina Garcia. She is survived by 5 sons; Ruben & Martha Garcia of Amarillo, TX, Raul & Josie Garcia of Olton, TX, Alfredo Garcia of Plainview, TX, Baldomero & Alice Garcia and Eddie and Mary Lou Garcia all of Hale Center, TX, 19 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
