Etta Marshall

Graveside services for Etta Marshall, 82, of Lubbock, TX and formerly of Greenbriar, Ark, were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, in the Center Plains Cemetery, Cotton Center, TX, under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Marshall died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 in Lubbock, TX. She was born December 2, 1926 in Arkansas. She married Louis Marshall in Little Rock, Ark. She had lived in the Mayflower and Greenbriar areas until moving to Lubbock in 2005. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Reedy, and his wife Jo, brother-in-law, Don Richards and a grandson, B. J. Blassingame. She is survived by her husband, Louis Marshall of Lubbock, TX, a son, David B. Blassingame and wife Martha of Little Rock, Ark, a daughter, M. Ann Caldwell and husband Clifton of Lubbock, TX, 1 step son, William Elvis Marshall , 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildre and 5 great great grandchildren, 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
