Estefana Flores

Memorial services for Estefana Flores, 60, of Slaton, TX will be held Saturday 2:00 PM, November 27, 2021 at The Dwelling Place Church, 1701 E. 10th Street, Lubbock, TX with Rev. Enrique Marquez officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy. Mrs. Flores died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Lubbock, TX. Estefana Flores was born October 31, 1961 in Lubbock to Carlos and Maria (Villanueva) Marquez. She was raised in the Lubbock and Hale county areas, graduating from Idalou High School. She later attended South Plains College where she attained her associates degree. Estefana worked for AT&T as a supervisor of new employee training. She lived in Slaton, TX prior to moving in Lubbock in 2016. She was well known for her hard work and her sense of humor. Estefana enjoyed going to church and was a person of great faith. She loved her family dearly. She is preceded in death by her brother Felix Casares April of 2021 Estefana is survived by four children Johnny Flores, Aurelio Flores, Maria Luisa Flores all of Slaton, and Miguel Flores of Lubbock, three brothers Enrique Marquez of Abernathy John Gonzales and Feliciano Marquez both of Lubbock, two grandchildren Athina and Aliahs Flores both of Slaton.
