Elzada Lee

Memorial services for Elzada Lee, 82, of Lockney, TX, were held 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 5, 2006, in the Lockney Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Lee died Thursday, August 31, 2006, at Legend of the Plains Nursing Home in Hale Center, TX. She was born February 3, 1924 in Fluvanna, TX and married Frank Hardy December 9, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1982. She later married W.J. Lee on February 26, 1985, in Aiken, TX and he preceded her in death in January of 1997. She lived in Lockney since 1944 before moving to Hale Center in April of 2006. She was a Baptist. She is survived by 2 daughters: Pat Nelson and her husband Charles of Floydada, TX and Frankie Dean Adams and her husband Wilbur of East Wenatchee, WA; 3 Sisters, Viola Ferguson of Plainview, TX, Luceta Staats of Shell Knob, MO and Ethel Meek of Hyco, TX, 4 Grandchildren, Kayna Layman of Ruidoso, NM, Tim Nelson of Andrews, TX, Phyllis Meyer of East Wenatchee, WA and Robin Daniel of Prairie Grove, AR, 6 great grandchildren, a step-son David Lee of Lockney, TX and 1 step-daughter, Debbie Lee of South Carolina.
