Donald Patterson

Memorial services for Donald "Pete" Patterson, 70, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 17, 2005, in the Hale Center Church of Christ with Gary Patterson officiating. Burial was held prior to the Memorial in the Hale Center Cemetery. Arrangements were by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. He was born April 25, 1934 in Slaton, TX. He married Patsy O'Briant April 8, 1955 in Santa Rosa, NM. He moved to Hale Center in 1969 from Plainview, TX. He earned the American Farmers Degree in high school and was involved in agriculture all of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Pat Patterson of Hale Center, TX, 2 sons, Gary Patterson and his wife Cindy of Farwell, TX, Brian Patterson and his wife Jeannie of Roosevelt, TX a daughter, Pattie Patterson and her husband Scott Zapalac of Lubbock, TX, a brother, Don Patterson of Alameda, CA, 2 sisters, Opal Meeks of Lubbock, TX, and Corrine Lang of Long Beach, CA and 5 grandchildren.
