Services for Devin Gilbert Tello, 19, of Lubbock, TX, will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 8, 2014, in the Faith Christian Family Church, 3616 58th, Lubbock, with Pastor Keith Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Devin died Friday, January 3, 2014, in Lubbock County. He was born May 12, 1994 in Lubbock, where he was a lifelong resident. He attended Coronado and Monterrey High Schools and was an awesome soccer player, playing on a select league, and won State Championship title on team Lumbre in 2004. He loved to draw and had a loving heart. Devin had a special bond with his daughter, Mother and brothers. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Eloy and Terri Tello, his mother, Mary Ramos, Step-father, Jason Ramos, daughter, Serenity Tello, 2 brothers, Michael and Gabriel Ramos, Devin's girlfriend, Priscilla, all of Lubbock, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
