Cyris Kai Lewis, 22, of Lubbock, TX died on Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Lubbock. The family will gather to receive friends on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 12:00pm - 6:00pm at Abell Funeral Home. Cremation services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. He was born on June 19, 1999 in Lubbock, TX, to Alma Rose LaPoint and Robert Wayne Lewis. Known to his friends as "Cy Kai", he was always enjoying life. Cy Kai was a loving brother who took care of his family. He enjoyed swimming, singing and dancing with his friends and family. The party didn’t start until he was there. Cy Kai was preceded in death by his great grandmother Jessie Vargas and aunt Sunday Manzanares. He is survived by his wife Malie Lewis of Lubbock, daughter Kind Rose Lewis of Lubbock, mother Alma Rose Lewis of Lubbock, father Robert Wayne Lewis of Killeen, TX, sister Angel Rose Lewis of Lubbock, brother Royal Lewis of Lubbock, grandmother Mary Jane LaPoint of Lubbock, grandmother Beatrice Wilson of Killeen, grandfather Alfredo Olivarez and grandmother Evelyn Olivarez, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
