Funeral services for Cruz Lucero, 51, of San Antonio, TX, were held at 10:00 am Thursday, November 13, 2003, in the Flint Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Mario Davila, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery, Abernathy, TX, under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Mr. Lucero died Friday, November 7, 2003, in San Antonio, TX. He was born April 1, 1952 in LaMesa, TX. He married Eva Fuentes. Survivors; wife, Eva Lucero, 1 daughter, Tany Lucero 1 son, Cruz Lucero, Jr. 2 step sons, Emmett Saenz and Eddie Saenz, 3 sisters, Terry Real, Aurora Montoya and Virginia Salas, 14 grandchildren.
