Connie Lemond

Funeral services for Connie LeMond, 76, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 25, 2005, in the Hale Center First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Cameron, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Ms LeMond died Saturday, April 23, 2005 in Lubbock, TX. She was born December 9, 1928 in Hale Center, TX. She graduated from Hale Center High School and attended West Texas State University, and then employed in Hotel Management living in Mackinaw, MI, Aspen, CO, Phoeniz, AZ and Ruidoso, NM. She was a world traveler and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by a brother, Dick LeMond and his wife LuAnn of Hale Center, TX, a nephew, Mike LeMond and wife Julie of Midland, TX and a niece, Lynn Sims and husband Jackie of Hale Center, TX and several great nieces and nephews.
