Services for Clyoma Adams,81,of Abernathy, TX, were held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 20, 2002, in the Abernathy First United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Bass, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Mrs. Adams died at her home in Abernathy on Friday, May 17, 2002. She was born on April 13, 1921 in Gatesville, TX. She married Robert L. Adams on July 5, 1939 in Portales, N.M. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1996. They moved to Abernathy in January of 1950 from Spade, TX. She was a member of the Abernathy Senior Citizens, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Gayle Adams on December 23, 1984. Survivors; 1 daughter, Carol Richardson of Abernathy, TX 1 son, Rick Adams of Dallas, TX 1 brother, C. E.
