Clara Waide

Services for Clara Madelene Waide, 73, of Hale Center, TX were held 10:00 am Saturday at Hale Center Church of Christ with Matt Swanson officiating. Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 20, 2004 in the Grandview Cemetery, Fort Collins, CO. Services were under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Waide died July 14, 2004 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. She was born September 27, 1930 in Waverly, CO, and married James Johnson Waide March 16, 1963 in Fort Collins, CO. They lived in Lincoln, Nebraska from 1963until moving to Ft. Collins in 1967. In 1970 they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where they lived until moving to Hale Center, TX in 2000. She is a member of the Church of Christ and was a housewife. Survivors include her husband, James Waide of Hale Center, TX, 2 sons: Rory and his wife Lynne Waide of Lawrenceville, GA and Gregory and his wife Jennifer of Waukomis, OK. She is also survived by 2 daughters: Linda Waide of Gallup,NM, Cynthia and her husband James Adams of Fort Collins, CO, 2 sisters: May Mitchell of Blackfoot, Idaho and Elaine Nixon of Wellington, CO, 7 grandchildren: Alaina, Nathaniel and Danae Adams, Ashley and Bryanna Waide, Susannah and Makaley Waide.
