Memorial Services for Cindy Snodgrass, 70 of Lubbock, Texas, will be held at 10:30 Am, Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at First Baptist Church Abernathy with Pastor Randy Unruh officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, Texas.

Cynthia Snodgrass died Friday, September 4, 2026 in Odessa, Texas.

Cindy was born on March 5, 1956, in Andrews, Texas, to James Lewis and Wanda (Thommarson) Palmer. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. On June 12, 1981, Cindy married Scott Snodgrass in Plainview, beginning a life together that would take them to several places across Texas.

Following their marriage, Cindy and Scott made their home in Odessa. In 2000, they returned to Abernathy when Scott began working on the family farm. In 2004, they moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where they remained until returning to Lubbock in 2019.

Throughout her life, Cindy enjoyed playing the piano, a pastime that brought her great joy.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Scott Snodgrass May 21, 2024.

She is survived by her brother James Palmer of Odessa, Texas, 3 brothers-in-law Don Snodgrass of Abernathy, Kent Snodgrass and wife Liz of Ft. Worth, TX, Kirk Snodgrass of Lubbock, and nieces and nephews Craig and wife Amanda, Clark, Beth, Clayton and wife Alex, Nathan and wife Kelly, Taylor and wife Isela, Devin and Madison, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Sherry Palmer of Odessa.
