Services for Check Hudson, 98, of Abernathy, TX, will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 22, 2015, in the Abernathy Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Hudson died at his home, Sunday, December 20, 2015. He was born March 14, 1917 in Eulogy, TX to Rube H. and Lizzie (Walker) Hudson. He married Frances Rice, February 11, 1939 in Lubbock, TX. He served in the United States Air Force at Bryan, TX and was a lifelong Abernathy resident. He was preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Frances Hudson and a daughter, Ann Sims, both of Abernathy, a grandson, Chris Sims and his family and a great grandchild, Caden Sims all of Lubbock, TX.
