Charles Soehngen, 73, of Hale Center, TX, died Monday, March 1, 2004, in Lubbock, TX. Cremation was under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mr. Soehngen was born November 10, 1930 in Jersey City, N.J. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He married Kaye Harper in Clovis, N.M, June 5, 1982. He moved from Brownfield, TX to Hale Center in 1982. He coached Little Dribblers Basketball and his true pride and love was his children and grand children. He is survived by his wife, Kaye Soehngen of Hale Center, TX, Two daughters, Jacque Booth of Hemphill, TX, and Melissa Gallaway of Canadian, TX. One son, Allen Mason of Cotton Center, TX. Three grandsons, four granddaughters and one great granddaughter. Abell Funeral Home
