Graveside services for Carol Ann Wheeler, 70, of Hale Center, TX, will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 30, 2015, in the Hale Center Cemetery with Rev. Lanny Wheeler, brother of Ann, officiating. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Miss Wheeler died Thursday, March 26, 2015, in Lubbock, TX. She was born June 29, 1944 to J. O. and Estelle (Ballew) Wheeler in Winters, TX. Ann was raised in Hale Center, where she lived most of her life. She was a longtime member of the Hale Center First United Methodist Church. She loved the Wizard of Oz and Barbie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Wheeler. She is survived by a brother, Rev. Lanny Wheeler and wife Jackie of Lubbock, TX and a sister, Vicky McKinney and husband Eddie of Hale Center, TX and many nieces and nephews.
