She and her husband Aureliano, instilled the values of faith, hard work, and determination. Carmen was known for being a caregiver for family and friends. She loved to read, gardening, and watched many hours of the Hallmark Channel on TV. She was a woman of quiet strength and strong religious beliefs. She was a devoted member of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church. A daughter, Sylvia Quiñonez, husband Aureliano Quiñonez, and 3 brothers, preceded her in death. Carmen is survived by 3 sons, Pablo Quiñonez, Anthony Quiñonez and wife Maria all of Abernathy, and David Quiñonez and wife Angela of Katy, TX, 2 daughters, Graciela Quiñonez and Rita Prieto and husband Manuel all of Abernathy, and 2 grandchildren, Marco Quiñonez and Kori Vecchio.
