Carla Allison

Carla (Smith) Allison was born January 6, 1942 in Petersburg, TX to Vernon and Hilda (Fuchs) Smith.  She graduated Petersburg High School and taught piano lessons in her younger years. She married Michael Elmo Allison, September 3, 1969 in Oklahoma City, OK and had been employed by Texas Tech University for over 30 years, as secretary to the Department Head for housing, retiring in 2016.

Mrs. Allison died Thursday, October 25, 2018, in Lubbock, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by a nephew, Gary Smith and wife Gwynne of Columbia, SC and a niece, Debbie Kemp and husband Robert of Abernathy, TX.

Cremation is under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Burial will follow cremation in the Abernathy Cemetery.

Carla would have liked memorial contributions to be made to the Salvation Army.
