Butch Fair

Memorial services for Butch Fair, 56, of New Deal, TX will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 13, 2016, in Bacon Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Dominguez officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Fair died Saturday, January 9, 2016, in Lubbock, TX. He was born February 17, 1959 in Kermit, TX. He married Cindy Tedder on June 9, 1978 in Smyer, TX. He worked as an auto glass installer beginning in 1979 and owned and operated Butch's Auto Glass from 2005 until 2013 when he began working at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center. He was a member of Community Heights Baptist Church in Lubbock and was a founding member of "Cross Riders" motorcycle ministry. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Fair of New Deal, TX, his mother, Verna Williams of Ralls, TX, a son James Fair and wife Katina of Amarillo, TX, daughter, Tiffany Fair of San Antonio, TX, granddaughter, Stephanie Fair of New Deal, TX, brother, Alton Adkins of Dallas, TX sister, Belinda Rendon of Lubbock, TX and a step sister, Ollie "Tinker" Ellison of Arizona.
