Memorial service for Bryan Scott, 61, of Amarillo, TX will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 27, 2023, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Bryan died Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Amarillo. He was born February 20, 1962 in Plainview, TX to Bill and Linda (Mull) Scott. He was raised in Abernathy and graduated from Abernathy High School in 1980. Bryan earned a Bachelor Degree in Hospital Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, OK. Bryan moved to Amarillo in 2016 and was store manager at Lorec Ranch. He was an actor at Amarillo Little Theater. Bryan attended Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo. Bryan was preceded in death by his Father, Bill Scott, February 10, 2006 and his Mother, Linda Scott, October 1, 2014. He is survived by his son, Spencer Scott and wife Kylea of El Reno, OK. "Pops" as his 2 grandchildren, Pacey and Houston Scott, lovingly referred to him, 3 sisters, Bilinda Prater and husband Robert of Abernathy, Beth Harkey of Lubbock and Barbie Pope and husband DelRay of Pilot Point, TX. Bryan is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, that knew him as "Buzz", Jordan and Griffin Prater, Saralynn Valdez, Morgan, Luke and Shannon Harkey, Brayson and Maddye Pope, 2 great nephews, Cian and Jasper Prater, and his aunts and uncles, Marshall and Candi Mull, Alvin and Georgia Proctor, Roy and Paula Mull and a host of cousins.
