Services for Bobbie Peeples, 77, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 7, 2004, at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Blevins officiating. Burial followed in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Peeples died Friday, June 4, 2004, in Lubbock, TX. She was born December 7, 1926 in Lubbock. She married Verbal Peeples in Abernathy, July 25, 1944 in Abernathy, TX. She moved to New Deal in 1952 and then to Lubbock in 1994. She and her husband founded Ceramic Peeples in 1972. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church and the Lubbock Christian Womens Association. She is survived by a son Randy Peeples and his wife Diane of Lubbock, TX, a daughter, Karen Crisp and her husband Charlie of Houston, TX. Four grandchildren, Steve Peeples of Wichita, KS, Shannon Nobles of Livingston, TX, Holly Crisp Hahn of Houston, TX and Heather Crisp of Denver, CO, 7 great grandchildren, Bradie and Browning Peeples, Jack and Luke Nobles, Caleb, Elias and Gabriel Crisp Hahn, and one brother, Donald Robison of Abernathy, TX.
