Services for Bobbie Francis Caddell Meester, 73, of Hale Center, were held at 10:00 am Friday, September 28, 2001, at Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Graham of Hamilton, Tx., will officate. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, Tx. Mrs. Meester was born on February 14, 1928 in Weinert, Tx. She married Foye L. Meester on February 24, 1948 in Littlefield, Tx. She was a member of the Hale Center First Baptist Church. She grew up in Plainview, Tx., and graduated from Plainview High School. She had lived in Lubbock, San Antonio, and Central Texas before moving back to Hale Center in 1999. She retired from General Electric. Survivors; Husband, Foye L. Meester of Hale Center, Tx., 2 Sons, Roger and his wife Charlotte Meester of Fair Oaks Ranch, Tx. and Stephen and Donna Lee Meester of Burleson, Tx. 1 Daughter, Rajean Gulley and her husband John of Vienna, Va. 2 Sisters, Patricia Dean Bishop of Monterey Park, Ca. and Etta Mae Ferrell of Abilene, Tx. 4 Grandchildren, Brian Parkhill of Kittaning, Pa., Benjamin and Michael Gulley of Vienna, Va., and Brittany Meester of Fair Oaks Ranch, Tx.
