Rosary services for Belia B. Flores, 81, of Arlington, TX were held at 5:00 pm Sunday, December 16, 2007, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center, TX. Funeral mass was celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, December 17, 2007, in the same church with Rev. Jim Costagan officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Flores died December 13, 2007 at Arlington Medical Center in Arlington, TX. She was born to Isabel and Santos Briseno on January 27, 1926 in Dallas, TX. She married Fidel Flores, Sr. on June 15, 1939 in Taylor, TX, and he preceded her in death on October 26, 1994. She moved to Hale Center in 1946 and lived there until moving to Memphis, TX in 1999 and later moved to Arlington in 2007. She was very active in the St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center where she was a member of the Crusillistas and served as a Eucharistic minister. She is survived by 2 sons, Fidel Flores, Jr. and San Juan Flores, both of Lubbock, TX, 5 daughters, Maria Lile Torres of Memphis, TX, Estella Dominquez of Cotton Center, TX, Olivia Garza of Plainview, TX, Debbie Belia Flores of Lubbock, TX and Belia M. Flores of Arlington, TX, a brother, Timoteo Briseno of Three Rivers, TX, a special sister, Trinie Briseno of Hale Center, TX, 50 grandchildren, 97 great grandchildren,and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Lorenzo Flores, Roberto Flores, Juan Flores, Trinnie Flores, Josephina Rodriquez and Maria Espinosa. Abell Funeral Home
