Audrey was born August 16, 1933 to Cecil and Clara Lee (Allison) Brooks in Collinsworth County, TX. She graduated from Abernathy High School. With permission from her father, Audrey married the love of her life Harold Dean Miller at 15 years old. She was well know for her upholstery work that she did from her home, she still received phone calls often for her work after she retired. Audrey also made quilts, scarves and during Covid would make masks. Audrey was devoted to her Lord Jesus, and kept a long prayer list that she always added too. During the 80's, she took up a new hobby of painting rocks. She took art lessons to better her skills to paint mountains and pine trees. Audrey was a jack of all trades and was very independent, doing many things by herself. She enjoyed to laugh and cut up while sitting on her new porch, which she called her dance floor. Audrey will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Clara Brooks, husband Harold Dean Miller, and her only daughter Lila Jerree Mckeeman. Audrey is survived by her sister Ellis Marie Middleton and husband David of Arkansas, 4 grandchildren Wendy Lett and husband Randy, Erica Samples, Valorie Samples Jacobson and husband Jay, and Chancy Samples and wife Amber, 7 great grandchildren Joshua, Kurstin, Kassidy, Joann, Laz, Nick, Addison, and Raven, and 5 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her dogs Little Bit, Daisy Girl and Old Man Rascal. The family would like to thank her nurse Princess, physical therapist David, Mark Middleton for always being a phone call away when she needed anything, and to her granddaughter Erica Samples for loving her so much to uproot her life to be there to care for her.
