Rosary for Antonio Santos "Tony" Briseno, 57, of Hale Center, TX, was recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center, TX. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the same church with Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mr. Briseno died Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Ruidoso, NM. He was born October 11, 1950 in Happy, TX to Prilino and Trinie Briseno. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and St. Theresa's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Belia "Belle" Briseno of Hale Center, TX, his mother, Trinie Briseno of Hale Centerj, TX, 5 children, April Ceniceros of Plainview,TX, Jennie Perez of Albuquerque, NM, Ralph Briseno and Erica Briseno of Oklahoma, Joe Mike Briseno of Amarillo, TX, a brother, Mike Briseno, 3 sisters, Isabel Almendarez, Trinie Briseno and Alvina Briseno and 6 grandchildren.
