Services for Annette Milner, 71, of Petersburg, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2006, in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Wendell Ferguson and Rev. Ted Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the Strip Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Milner died Friday, November 17, 2006, in Lubbock, TX. She was born October 4, 1935 in Brownfield, TX, to Earl B. and Nettie (Benton) McCullough. She married Dale Milner in Lubbock, TX on December 30, 1956 and moved to Petersburg in 1961 from Lubbock. She was a member of the Petersburg First United Methodist Church, was a former 4-H Leader and a member of the 36 Club. She enjoyed painting, sewing, gardening and cooking. She is survived by her husband Dale Milner of Petersburg, TX, a son, Danny Milner and his wife Kathy of Petersburg, TX, a daughter Danette Johnston and her husband Sid of North Richland Hills, TX, a brother, Lester McCullough and his wife Sarah of Aubrun, KS and 4 grandchildren, Kathryn Milner of Lubbock, TX, Cynthia Milner of Canyon, TX, Tiffany Johnston of San Diego, CA and Jennifer Johnston of North Richland Hills, TX. The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or to a favorite charity. Abell Funeral Home
