Angela Leigh Bowe

Angela (Angie) Leigh Bowe was born on April 14, 1962, in Salem, Oregon and passed away peacefully, on April 12, 2026. A dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse, Angie spent her career providing exceptional care to patients at The Center for Orthopedic Surgery for nearly 20 years, where her loving compassion and caring expertise touched the lives of many.

Angie attended Parkview Elementary School in Lovington, New Mexico, before moving with her mother and sister to Lubbock, Texas in 1976. She graduated from Lubbock Christian High School in 1980, and afterwards, attended Texas Tech University.

Angie's nurturing spirit and loving nature will be profoundly missed by her large family and also, by her numerous, and highly cherished friends. She is survived by her sons, Nicklaus Bowe and wife Christine; Dillon Bowe and wife Samantha; her daughters, Courtney Bowe Ware and husband Kyle; Madison Bowe Sutherland and husband Jordan. She is additionally survived by her sister, Leisha Sanders Womble and husband, Dustin R. Womble. Angie is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Katherine Bowe and Everleigh Bowe, Brylee Ware and Colton Ware, and Payton, Avery, and Emma Sutherland. She leaves behind cherished cousins: Judy Harvel, Jana Reeves, Jo Ellen Goldston, Megan Flow, Deron Lewis, Scott Lewis, and Kyle Lewis. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and multiple great-nieces and great-nephews.

 Angie's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and profession will continue to inspire those who knew her for many generations to come. Her warmth and kindness will be celebrated by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life. Her love for her family is surpassed only by her love for Jesus Christ, her eternal Lord and Savior. 

Angie was preceded in death by: her father, John Newton Sanders, her mother, Mahota Mitchell Richey, and her much loved step-father, Wyman Richey.

Cremation is under the care of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, Texas.
