Ana Ramirez

Rosary for Ana Ramirez, 90, of Hale Center, TX, will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, with Rev. Reymundo Manriquez and Rev. John Smith officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 8, 2014, in the same church with the same officiants. Burial will follow in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Cemetery, Happy, Texas, under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. She was born August 29, 1923 in Villa Escobedo, Chihuahua, Mexico. She married Laurencio Avila and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1987. She moved to Hale Center in 1997 from Tulia, TX. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church. She is survived by 12 children, Ramon Avila of Happy, TX, Laurencio Avila and Melchor Avila both of Friona, TX, Everado Avila, Raul Avila Hector Avila and Blanca Avila all of Chihuahua, Mexico, Ismael Avila of Olton, TX, Margarita Avila of Mexico City, Mexico, Rosa Avila of Camargo, Mexico, Yolanda Avila of Garden City, KS and Ana Rey of Hale Center, TX. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren.
