Services for Alice Wolf, 61, of Abernathy, were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2001, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with Rev. John Lowrie, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Mrs. Wolf died Sunday, October 21, 2001 at her home in Abernathy, Tx. She was born in Littlefield, Texas on April 23, 1940. She married Ralph Wolf on June 9, 1957 in Abernathy. She was a member of the Abernathy First Baptist Church where she had been a long time member of the choir. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Wolf Mills on September 10, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Wolf of Abernathy, Tx. 1 Son, Sammy Wolf of Plainview, Tx., 1 Daughter, Connye Teal of Abernathy, Tx., 2 Sisters, Darlene Fritz of Lubbock, Tx., and Tijauna Loper of Abernathy, Tx. 6 Grandchildren The family suggests memorials be sent to the First Baptist Church, 411 - 7th Street, Abernathy, Tx. 79311 or to the Abernathy Cemetery, c/o First State Bank, P.O.
