Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the same church with Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial followed in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center,TX. Mr. Gerhardt died November 18, 2007 in McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. He was born March 20, 1943 in Yeso, NM. He is survived by 4 children; Eva Aguirre, Selena Gerhardt, Florencia Gerhardt, and Damian Gerhardt, all of Fort Collins, CO, 5 brothers, Rejino Gerhardt and Luis Gerhardt of Hale Center, TX, Robert Gerhardt of Lamesa, TX, George Gerhardt of Rupert, Idaho and Dennis Gerhardt of White Settlement, TX, 1 sister, Tina Gerhardt of Hale Center, TX, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
