Graveside services for Jonnie L. Paxton, 84, of Wichita Falls, TX, and formerly of Abernathy, TX, will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2002, in the Abernathy Cemetery with Steve Gauntt, minister of the Abernathy Church of Christ, officiating. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Paxton died Thursday, December 19, 2002. She was born on November 1, 1918 in Hollis, OK. She married J. D. Farrier in 1939 in New Deal, TX, and he preceded her in death in 1965. She married Stanley Paxton in 1983 and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1997. She moved to from Wichita Falls, TX to Abernathy in 1965 and in 1998 she moved back to Wichita Falls. She was a member of the Church of Christ. survivors; 1 son, Marshall Ray Farrier and his wife Sue of Wichita Falls, TX. 1 sister, Sarah Graham of Abernathy, TX. 3 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren Abell Funeral Home
